The Linksys extender can be configured in three setup approaches; these are the WPS, web-based, and WiFi app ways. But, the most simple setup among them is the WPS process that does not require the usage of any specific thing. Whereas, the remaining two methods involve several steps and accessing the setup window. Apart from that, there will also be a need to use the login credentials of the extender in the last two methods. That’s why the first one is an easy-to-perform process for your Linksys re6700 setup. But, to achieve this process, you will need to have a WPS-compatible router that must be capable of connecting to the extender. If your router has this, then give the most priority to follow this process and complete it quickly and shortly. However, while doing this process, make sure to place both devices closer to each other. Also, keep checking the LED signs of both devices as you will get the setup confirmation from them.
