Hi everyone! This is Jasonn Rennerand I am living in the USA. The cervical spine consists of seven vertebrae, labeled C1 to C7, and is responsible for supporting the weight of the head and allowing for a wide range of motion. Between each vertebra is a disc, which acts as a cushion and shock absorber for the spine. These discs are made up of a tough outer layer, called the annulus fibrosus, and a gel-like inner layer, called the nucleus pulposus. Over time, these discs can degenerate or become damaged, leading to conditions such as herniated discs, spinal stenosis, or arthritis. When conservative treatments, such as physical therapy, medications, or injections, fail to provide relief, Cervical Disc Fusion Surgery may be recommended.
