There are two different ways by which you can reset your Linksys extender's older configured settings. This process will require you to do the Linksys wifi extender setup again so execute this if there is a serious need. The first method involves accessing the web interface and clicking on the Factory Reset option. Then, the extender will start resetting the changes or settings that you made earlier. However, you can make a backup of those settings by choosing the Backup option from the same portal. Whereas, in the second method, you’ll need to use and press the reset button from the extender’s panel. As you do that, there will be a change in the LED color and state which will denote that the process is going on. Soon, the different light colors will confirm the process completion and ask you for reconfiguration.
